A Roman bronze ring with a slender hoop expanding into an oval engraved bezel. The bezel depicts a rearing lion in an attacking posture with raised forelegs, an arched body, and a curved tail, rendered in a lively schematic style. Linear strokes beneath the animal likely indicate ground or landscape elements within the composition.
