Description
A solid silver ring from the early medieval period, featuring a square, slightly cushion-shaped bezel engraved with a central dot and four crescent-shaped corner marks. This geometric style appears across early Christian and Germanic Europe from the 7th to 10th centuries.
The twisted rope-style hoop is a classic early medieval feature, known from Anglo-Saxon, Carolingian, and Viking-age silverwork. The small collar joining bezel and hoop is consistent with hand-forged medieval construction.

Historical Context
Twisted-wire hoops paired with small engraved bezels were widely worn across early medieval Europe. Their simple motifs were decorative or symbolic rather than heraldic, reflecting personal identity, belief, or regional style. Rings of this type appear in Saxon, Carolingian, and continental contexts throughout the 7th–10th century.
