This authentic ancient bronze finger-ring, named "Transitus," dates to the transitional period between late Roman and early medieval Europe (circa 4th-8th century CE). The band is sturdy and features raised "nubs" on the shank and shoulders-a hallmark of late antique and early medieval rings. The bezel is round to slightly polygonal, crisply engraved with a geometric cross-hatch pattern that served as a personal identifier or simple adornment.
