This ancient bronze ring, named "Rhomboides," dates from the transitional period between the Late Roman Empire and the Early Middle Ages (circa 3rd-9th century AD). Crafted from bronze with a stable, aged patina, it features a round or slightly oval bezel incised with a rhomboid (diamond) cross-hatch motif.
