This rare Greek bronze ring, named "Bouphoros," dates to around 300 BC and features a pointed oval bezel engraved with a stylized bucranium-the sacred ox skull motif. The circular-section hoop flows smoothly into the bezel, a hallmark of Hellenistic Greek craftsmanship. The bucranium was an important symbol in ancient ritual, representing strength, sacrifice, and agricultural prosperity.
