This genuine Roman bronze finger ring, named "Navicula," dates to the 2nd-4th century AD, during the height of the Roman Empire. It features an almond-shaped (navette) bezel with broad shoulders and incised decorative lines, which retain traces of colored pigment or ancient enamel-hallmarks of Roman craftsmanship from this era. The vibrant patina, blending bluish-green and reddish hues, attests to centuries of burial and authenticity.
