This ancient bronze ring, named "Valerianus," dates to the transitional period from the Late Roman Empire to the Early Middle Ages (c. 3rd-7th century CE). It features a thick, rounded hoop and an elongated (amandine) bezel engraved with a series of linear marks-likely a unique personal symbol or "pseudo-script."
