Description

This authentic bronze alloy finger ring, named "Fabia," dates from the transitional era between Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages (ca. 4th–7th century AD). The ring features a flat, broad band and an almond-shaped, slightly convex bezel, engraved with concentric circle (“eye-dot”) motifs. Such designs were popular as protective and good luck symbols throughout Roman and early medieval Europe, and sometimes symbolized coins or solar wheels.
